7.25 is our minimum wage. ;( there's no way to get free service as far as i know, but you can get a really good deal by calling in and raising hell about cancelling and they'll transfer to loyalty who can pretty much make any offer to keep you on as a customer.

check it man, you need two tvs for this.

set them right next to eachother, change the hue of one until everything is red. change the hue of the other until everything is blue. now put them on the same channel (or if you have a duo receiver hooked up to 2 tvs set it to single mode) and put on your 3d glasses. back up until the image is in 3d, voila!

Wire up a sling box to a bar or friend in your area before you have to leave for another country. Then maybe an IP switch for the electricity so you can reset it remotely for easy troubleshooting later. Find an attic or a crawlspace to put the equipment. You may know of a an old lady that you help with her computer? She will proly let you do whatever you feel needs to be done. Tell her you need to install some things for computer security. just a suggestion.

Its a combination Smartcard Reader / Computer that has the SoftCAM built into it you just plug it into you Box (note your box must have a Common Interface Slot (i.e. PCMCIA Slot), in order to use it).

Most if not all of the higher - mid range Recivers have this Slot now adays. Only the El Cheppo FTA shit fail to have one.

Chances are that your issued STB probably wouldn't have one though.
