front page. to get it back to the front page, you post on it -- such a
post is called a bump.
sage - this is japanese for "to lower." while
it doesn't work on /b/, if you put sage in the email field, the post
won't count as a "bump"
triforce - from the legend of zelda. it's
used as a test by newfag generation n to distinguish themselves from
newfag generation n+1. it's a combination of unicode characters, the
secret being the use of unicode spaces.
an hero - this is a meme that
originated when some kid killed himself because bullies took his ipod.
posts on him livejournal page called him "an hero" and the grammar error
has lived on in this meme.
pic not related -- to start a new thread,
you must include a pic. but often your post doesn't require any type of
visual aid, so you can choose to post any random picture. when you do
so, you sometimes say "pic not related" to indicate this. |
