fri Leer: The 27-year old woman who was murdered Wednesday morning in Leer, was strangled. At which point, her alleged murderer, the 32-year-old Leer local Matthias Schoormann, beheaded her. This was confirmed by prosecutor Werner Kramer on Thursday. According to Kramer, the victim and the perpetrator were acquainted. The nature of their relationship is yet to be determined. Schoormann left behind a farewell message on a website. Whether this is actually connected to the case or irrelevant is still not clear. The alleged killer has no criminal record. There are no connections as yet to other persons involved.
