The paint might flake off. In that case:

1. Cut stencil out of paper, draw around the edges of the cut out sections, and get some scotch pads and scotch the section lightly. Put cardboard stencil over it exactly, and then spray light dusty coats on, with a 5 min wait between coats.

Or 2. Cut stencil, dont scotch the plastic, instead buy a can of Laquer or Clear Coat, spray stencil on, remove stencil, then mask neatly around the edge, then add 2 coats of the clear coat.
