    I regret to inform you that this sharecash victory will be short lived, if at all. The reason is simple, the motivation to post spam here for monetary purposes has not been removed.

    Firstly I doubt that sharecase will hold up it's end of the bargain, but we will have to wait and see. If sharecash does attempt to enforce these new rules it will fail. It will be impossible to police its users because of the structure of their business.

    The real threat is neither sharecash or its users for they will be easily replaced by others if dissuaded. The feasibility of making money on this site by using spam is the central issue causing this problem. If sharecash does not attempt this another company using the same business model will. The solution must then lie here at this website.

    There are only two solutions proposed in the /s/ thread that will affect spamming. The first is the use of a captcha which will make it less profitable to spam but will have the unintinded effect of reducing traffic. The Second solution is more moderation. It may be costly but the only way to keep spammers off of this site for good is through a dependable and sizeable moderation staff.
