What do you do when you stop caring about anything?

I'm a NEET with lots of alone time and very little energy or interest in anything. The obvious answer is I should get a job/go to school, but I don't really care enough about those to do them, and I probably don't have the energy, either. I have a fairly wide social circle but I really don't feel like talking to anyone very often.

What do I do? What do I work towards? I don't see the point in anything. I don't see the point in learning, in books, in entertainment, in working, etc etc. I could do all of them, but I derive no enjoyment from any of them and think they're ultimately pointless.

How do I stop feeling like this? How do I actually have energy and passion towards things again?

I don't know. Maybe you should just stop hanging yourself up on what you think you can do, or should do, and just go do what you feel like.

Apply for your dream job, even if you think you're not qualified.

Also, go out and jog. Do it as often as possible, preferably every day.
It will give you a shitton of energy in just a few weeks time.

i dont know, do you have a place to live and food? that's what the rest of us workers/college students have been aiming for.

I don't have a dream job. There's not really anything I want to do. Also, I exercise regularly, jogging for a few miles 3 days a week and lifting the other three days, sometimes with yoga on the weekend. I think it might be more of a mental thing.

I live with my parents still. They don't seem fussed about me not doing anything with my life.

Find a new passion and motivation. Or, just suck it up and do shit.
>the obvious answer is that I should go to school
Nope. You'll just drop out. You have to have some kind of drive or motivation to go through with college. It's not about being smart. It's about being dedicated to getting that degree.

What do/did you enjoy? Did something happen to make you think this way?

I'll probably end up just doing things that I don't care about just to do something.

I used to enjoy music and tv shows and movies and stuff. I had a few other more active hobbies. I would party a fair amount, too. I've been going through a kind of stressful time in my relationship and some friendships, but a lot of that's resolved now.

I just feel like I'm getting kind of sick of life. My friends are getting on my nerves, even though they're just acting the same way they always have and I've never had a problem with them before. I feel like I'm just looking for quiet. Music and tv shows feel intrusive. I feel like I've been overwhelmed to the point I'm trying to block things out. But I know this isn't a good way to spend my time. I can't just sit in my room and ignore life.
