Is finishing high school and going to college worth it at age 24? Obviously not a regular high school but some adult program?

The thing is I've went in and out of prison for the past 8 years and I'm trying to rebuild my life. I'd like to finish high school and get a college degree but I'm not sure if it will be useful at all with an extensive criminal record? What are some career paths that you can actually do with a record?

pic unrelated.

depends on the charges. are you a felon? get your ged and go to college. it's faster.

You'd probably have an easier go of it by doing an apprenticeship program and becoming an electrician or something. Still a pretty big time commitment but it's cheaper and you'll be working your profession as you go.

I'm 24 and at uni.. and my life has improved ridiculously since I started... doing 2 subjects I love, got a shitload of money, got a busy summer coming up as well... In other words, it's worth it.

not american and yes.

Go and study computer science or become a fitness trainer. Both pay $17-25 with just an AA or just taking a few classes to certified paper work.

Is there money in that, yes? That's something I'd be interesting in.

good luck trying to get a job as a trainer. that market is flooded with people with kinesiology degrees, in america at least.

Yeah, people always want to stay health. If you become well-known in your area, you can set your own private lessons and charge more per hour. The wages prices are the set amount gyms in California pay their trainers, and there is always room to grow.
