So when you guys graduated high school did you know exactly what you wanted to major in? I'm 19 and in my freshman year in college and I still have no idea on what I want to major in or do with the rest of my life. I feel like a loser and I want to succeed in life but I don't know where to begin. I'm doing pretty okay in college. I got a 3.0 for my gpa last semester.

Just take classes in things you like.

If you're on /adv/ alot then try taking a psych or counseling class and see if you want to be a counselor or something.

Just take classes that do what you like to do and see what sticks

>I want to succeed in life
What the fuck does that mean?

I'm 20 and I still have no fucking clue. Don't worry about it.

Do you think a 3.0 is good for a gpa?
>>
Most people have no idea what they want to do. Find something you're good at and at least somewhat interests you. If that means taking a broad range of classes before you can decide wtf that means (and that is often the case) then do that.

Yeah.

Most freshmen end up between a 2.0 and 2.5 so you're already past the majority

i've changed my major twice since starting college, from Computer Science to Business, and now to History. I never saw myself as being into History until I was in college for a few semesters, once you take classes and hear other peoples stories and your professors stories and find out more about yourself, you'll figure it out. don't worry so much, but expect pressure from any and all family.

The goal is to find your element. Imagine a graph and the x-axis is Aptitude (talent and skill) and the y-axis is Passion. If your passion is high, but your aptitude is low, you'll find yourself in an extremity of frustration. On the other hand, if your aptitude is high, but your passion is low, you'll find yourself in the extremity of boredom.

You're not always going to find your niche in academia either. I'm a stand-up comic.
