I've been trying to move into a house for a few months now. Problem is, I need room mates. I've had a few people interested, but none of my friends seem as serious on moving in as I am (I ask them for the money and to fill out the application and don't get it). I'm thinking about just finding somebody on craigslist who seems chill. How do I weed out the crazies, and has anyone else done anything like this? Tell me what you think.
Yeah, I did it, and I got a really awesome roommate.Try to pick out one that describes the house as "homey" or "warm."
i've used it many times op. is there one particular house you are looking at though? i've found that in these circumstances, it's always best to be the one who wants to move in with people who are already at the place. let someone else be the primary leaseholder/on the utilities/etc.
>>8380216Well I did see this 3 BR house that I really liked in a nice neighborhood. I was planning on getting on the least equally with 2 other people. This makes sense, it's what I did before and was easy, I don't like however that I would feel it's "their house" and I don't want to put much effort into accommodating them if they have any weird rules.
>>8380207Cool, I did see a couple people that used that term.
