    MLP:FiM is actually a very well-made show. Good animation, good voice acting, teaches valuable lessons that kids could actually benefit from. It's written in a way so even adults can watch it and not feel like their intelligence is being insulted.

    However, like being a fan of ANYTHING, it's only bad if you're obsessive.

    As for the possibly insulting episode, it's probably the "Feeling Pinkie Keen" one as mentioned, which is episode 15. It got a lot of shit for giving mixed messages.
