Just try to remember that if they are less intelligent than you that isn't any more their fault than the things you lack in terms of social skills are yours. Most people can actually relate to this as there are all kinds of people that one will have to interact with in an average day, month, year... and some of them are going to be smarter some not as intelligent. Your results are just skewed a little unevenly if you think about it. I guess what I am saying is there is nothing you can do about them so just try to learn to acept and even enjoy people for who they are.

The problem here is that most people go in discussions for the wrong reasons. They want other people to tell them they're correct. People will lie, exaggerate, and derail the conversation only to try and make people believe what they're trying to say.
