What defines a "moe show"? Moe characters being present? People have different ideas about what makes characters "moe", and even if you go by the most common standards, you end up with a huge genre, filled with fundamentally different shows.

K-ON might be part of it, but also the average Key show, perhaps even Toradora because all of its female characters have moe characteristics.

"Moe" as a genre, doesn't make sense.

Well, there's two things wrong with harshness and lurk moar responses these days. The first is that 4chan became a little too publicly known, and there's just too many people who won't go away until they get sauce. Saging and telling them to lurk more doesn't make them leave, it just keeps the thread around the front page more. Giving them the source ends it that second, and sometimes leads to a decent thread about the animu/manga in question. The second issue is that when things get taken to an extreme, sauce is never posted and lurking doesn't help. Believe me, I'm all for people learning how to shut the fuck up and observe board culture for a while before posting their stupid shit, but it isn't going to happen, so I prefer doing the much more easy and expedient thing, and answering their question so they can be on their way. Getting mad and shitting up the thread doesn't do anything except shit the board up even more.
