Attention 4chan extension/user script/archive developers: Some time in the next few days, we'll be rolling out a complete HTML rewrite of the imageboards.
The design will remain the same, but the underlying HTML/CSS is completely new, and validates HTML5/CSS3 (with some tweaks to account for cross-browser compatibility).

As a regular user, these changes should not affect you. You will need to update your 4chan browser extensions/user scripts when their maintainer updates them to be compatible with the changes.
The official 4chan Chrome extension will be ready to go when the updates happen, and 4chan X should be ready soon. We'll post more details on the day of the migration!

Anyone here into Melty? Digging through /jp/ to find their thread only to find nobody on is pretty frustrating.

Who're you guys maining? So far I love F-Aoko to death. I have some trouble keeping up midscreen pressure since I can only get blue fire to work well in the corner. Balls are great for everything though. People who go on autopilot for pressure end up hitting them due to pushback.

DPs use up some of your health too and turn it into nonrecoverable life, so if you spam it like crazy and whiff a lot you'll be at risk of losing a shitload of health.

Not to mention if they block it and you don't cancel out of it somehow, most of the cast can herpderp fatal counter punish there goes half your health.

Pretty much what to do when I'm in on them and not in a corner. If there's distance I can zone, set up balls, and charge my meter, but if they're in my face or I'm in there face and I want to land shit, I'm usually a bit lost. I guess mixing them up? Charged 4C seems to slow to land on someone who's downbacking, and j.B/j.C feel easily telegraphed. I guess I can try to play more to her zoning strengths, but now and again I want to style on people, knock them down, and put my balls on their head.

Good point, I forgot about the blue life or whatever. It's mainly Mitsuru's DP that seems mashy, cause she can cancel into her super at the last second when you go to punish. Once they get scared of that, the Mitsuru can just DP and recover knowing they won't try anything.

It is pretty much like Powerstone. The characters are moeblobish, but you can skin them yourself pretty easily.

Combat is fast paced, and there are three things that define your character. Style (Class essentially, like Martial Artist, Fighter, Hero, Dancer, etc,) accessory (more appropriately named weapon, but whatever. Your accessory adds moves to your style) and weapon (like a sidearm, baseball bats and other random things you pull out mid-combo to make your opponet feel bad about themselves)

Overall I think it is pretty fun and have spent way too much time playing it with friends.

Hmm, yeah.
Tager is pretty fun fight as Hakumen.
Haku's range really shines and it's pretty easy to counter the more telegraphed attacks.
Also, cutting through a spark bolt just feels great.

Ragnas are a bit of a 50/50 for me though. I'll either block and counter hit like some kind of wizard or get my shit slapped non-stop all match.
Dat rushdown.
