Get a little bit of everything - Grenades aren't worth speccing deeply into, since they already have huge area/damage to start with. You can use them to detonate or set up biotic combos in a pinch.

For me I don't think the endings themselves are that bad. What makes them shit, is that almost anything else would have been more appropriate and they had the perfect opportunity to give the player some different outcomes. I will buy the ending DLC if it is published because I want it.

I fell in love with her back in '99 when she was playing Aeryn on Farscape. I think it was largely because so many other female characters on Sci-Fi TV shows at the time were constantly put into situations purposely designed to make a point of them being females (See the second episode SG-1, with the Mongols? the fact its "popular art" means its aim it to appeal the the largest amount of people by definition. This does not however mean it cannot have a statement or have meaning, it does however mean that if people are not enjoying it then its value diminishes.

Also you should realize that video games require a significant investment so making an effort to have it sell is also required of the development team or they are basically just performing a con-job on their investors.

People SHOULD demand their money back if they are dissatisfied with a product.
Critics used to be like a vanguard for popular art as a critics score would be unbiased and reflect what people were to expect out of a product so they could decide not to buy it if they did not think they would enjoy it. The amount of different critics always made it possible for people to find someone who represented their points of view.

However nowadays most popular critics get bought and spout PR bullshit that the developers give them or 1.) they will not have access to industry information before their competitors.
2.) they are simply paid for the review.
