I've been wondering for a while, aside from meet-ups/cons/events, where do girls into egl and what not hang out? And I don't necessarily mean dressed up in lolita, but normal fashion as well. I mean the obvious answer to me was where every other girl does but I've never seen anyone like that there.

Picture unrelated.

>And I don't necessarily mean dressed up in lolita, but normal fashion as well.
...?
Then how would you even know or care?
>>
>>6772415

English isn't your strong card is it sonny?
>>
>>6772333 (OP)
Out of lolita: if im out of lolita im usually at work.

In lolita: You can find me pretty much anywhere, from putting the trash out to buying icecream at the local supermarket.

There aren't going to be lolita hangout spots out side of meetups: Just normal people doing normal busy stuff. I did hang out with another loli the other night and we went bowling and had some beers... but i can't promise thats what others do.
>>
>>6772562
If they're not dressed in lolita how would you know or care that they were into egl?
>>
Other than work its either uni or online.
>>
>>6772333 (OP)
Lolitas are normal girls who all share the same hobby. When we take off the dresses we do normal people bullshit.

What did you expect?
>>
>>6772574
>Out of lolita: if im out of lolita im usually at work.
this.
gotta afford dat brand.

They travel in packs with their friends.
Usually it's a weekend circlejerk at one of their house's or they're off at the park or at a cafe eating sweets and taking pictures of themselves stuffing their gobs and making dumb faces.

Literally nothing interesting.
>>
>>6772574

Ah I see, I was just a bit umm, ignorant I suppose on the whole thing, so if it's not at work, where there is usually a dresscode, you will 99% of the time be in lolita fashion yea?

>>6772599
Hmm, alright thanks.

>>6772603
A secret society of course.

>>6772633
True! I know one that works at some fabrics store or something like that, must be like, heaven for her or something, employee discount.
>>
I'm at work or at home, or outdoors walking/bike riding if the weather permits. Either that or going to the same 10-ish restaurants and shopping establishments with my s/o. I don't really hang out. When you get to a certain age and stage in your life, you rush to get from where you were at to home so you can hang out there like the boring adult you are.
>>
>>6772680

Haha, I'm either an adult already or older than my age suggests since I always want to rush back home.
>>
I'm a lifestyle loli so I pretty much only ever hang out at teahouses and pony farms :3
>>
>>6772721

Pony farms? o _o;. Like literal ones right? That's not slang for something? > _>;
>>
>>6772726
Pony farm is slang for brothel.
>>
>>6772729

Oh geeze, I know nothing.

Farms that consists of ponies = brothel. I will remember this forever.
>>
>>6772669
Not always- I have other clothes and some times i like to wear them :) Id say its more 60% lolita, 20% goth, 20% dolly kei. My work doesn't have a dress code but i work outdoors and that means Jeans and a teeshirt.
>>
>>6772726

>emoticons
>thinking you can find wild lolitas

you must be new here
>>
Out of lolita and lolita: gardens and pubs. And friends' houses.
>>
>>6772333 (OP)
We're normal people OP. We're not animals that roam certain territories. Sure you'll find sweet lolitas at more cutesy places, but you can find a lolita almost anywhere.
>>
>>6774115

Stop pleaseu. You're just so good at green texting and using unique lines. Stooooop.

xDdddddd
>>
>>6774071

I see. Either way I guess it's still not normal whatever it is you do end up wearing. What type of work by the way?

>>6774121
Oh yea? We do happen to have a Japanese garden that has cherry blossom trees.

>>6774288
Well that's exactly why I asked! Because I never seem to find any anywhere other than the aforementioned cons and such. Maybe there just aren't that many around here.
>>
we are magical unicorns that hang out in moonlit glades and eat starlight.
>>
>>6774333
Depends on where you are. The size f your local community directly relates to your chances of seeing a Lolita around town.
>>
>>6774506

I already knew this, I just can't find the glades.

>>6774519

Yea I have no idea what the size is, plus I live in a big city with like 3 area codes so there are probably multiple small communities or something.
>>
>>6772669
99%? what weird misconceptions about lolita do you have? maybe a few people can be in lolita all the time, but certainly not most.
>>
what I want to know is why op has apparently been searching so vigorously for lolitas without being one her/himself. like, why do you even need to know "what kind of work" (>>6774333), even assuming lolita all have one specific kind of job? so op can stake out there or something, looking for lolis?

tl;dr this thread reads as kind of creepy. fess up, op.
>>
>>6774625

Well that's obviously not a real statistic now is it.

>>6774634

Uh yea sure, I'm prowling the world wide web trying to find the name of a store or business lolis work at so I may then spend hundreds of dollars flying state to state at every one of said business so I may then find the loli in question. You caught me.
>>
>>6774657
hyperbole aside, still creepy. if you'd just mentioned you were curious or something you wouldn't have come off as weird.
>>
>>6774675

If I mentioned I was curious where exactly? In the original post? You mean something like "I've been wondering for a while", or do I have to state it exactly as curiosity. I'm obviously curious or else I wouldn't be asking questions to begin with now would I? I suppose from now on I'll just have to add "By the way I'm not asking things so I can find and rape you, it's just because I'm curious." at the end of everything I ask now, because I mean, that's not creepy at all.
>>
>>6772669
I wear Lolita maybe 1-2 times a month if I'm lucky. My S/O doesn't like to be seen with me in a crazy fashion like that unless it's a convention, and though sometimes I will go out in a toned down skirt coord. Usually though, I don't even bother getting dolled up. Most of the time, I'm in jeans and a t-shirt, but I usually have some kind of thing that one would identify me as a lolita if you're in the the know. I've been using my Sugary Carnival tote as my everyday bag lately. Sometimes I'll wear some brand jewelry.
>>
>>6774708

Wait so is the reason you only wear it so few times a month is because due to the issue your S/O has?

And yea I don't ever really notice things such as a brands and what but I wonder if I actually stopped and looked if I would recognize anything.
>>
>>6774333
Well i guess it depends on your idea of normal? really: a skirt and a blouse is still a skirt and a blouse regardless of the overall look and although my fashion sense is different to some people my clothes are still clothes. Im a student atm so this isn't my dream job but im a gardener part time.
>>
>>6774745

Well I guess I meant normal by societies standards, which well, we all know anything out of the ordinary is just outrageous apparently.

Ah okay. It's still not bad I guess! I personally like to garden although not flowers, more like hot peppers...
>>
>>6774719
Not particularly. I work mostly evenings from 2-10pm or so. I get two days off a week. I usually roll out of bed at 10am, sometimes earlier, go for a walk/jog weather permitting, come home, shower, get ready for work and leave. Come home and sit infront of my computer. I don't really have too much time to get dolled up 5 days out of a week, and if I did, I'd have to go out with a friend, which sometimes I do, but sometimes I don't. It just depends how I'm feeling. I've been trying to make an effort to wear it more, but it's not been happening as of late.
>>
>>6774776
i actually live in a 12 story apt building so on my own time gardening isn't really my thing. But yeah I like my personal style and so does my S/O so thats pretty win.
