Our tv is shit. Media in general in Ireland is playing catch-up with the rest of the world. The whole thing is nepotism at it's worst.

Well first off, it was nice that the presenters seemed curious and didn't treat them like freaks. That's a minor plus for Irish media I guess... (though don't get me started on the pathetic excuse the media is here)

Their outfits did look pretty good by the apathetic irish standard, so /cgl/ are only wasting their breath going on about that.

Third girl looked amazing, I can't believe she made that in 5 days! Did she eat or sleep in that time?

And it would have been nice if the tv channel had gotten better shots of their costumes then the photos the girls provided... they were truly cringeworthy.

All in all I thought the interview was fine, a nice pg-friendly video that an irish kid could show their parents to help them understand what cosplay is.

Agreed about the presenters. They created a relaxed and non-judgmental atmosphere that allowed the presenters to describe the hobby and how they became engrossed in it. Would have been nice to have some make representatives to indicate it is not a female-Only activity at the conventions.

Only cRinge-worthy moments was that green wig and the Mikuru and Sakura pictures. The C.C. one was fine, but damn, at least provide some decent photos!

The presenters were really nice but shame about the cosplayers. The Sakura had a nice costume but the whole thing looked cringe worthy

I don't get why you'd go through the trouble of getting a seamstress to make a shitty cosplay for you when you can just go online. At least online you can complain if it turns out shit, can't really do that to a friend.

Make-up and costumes were horrible on the first two but props to the Sakura, she may be a bit big but she definitely has a talent for making cosplay and she looked a lot better than the other two.
