So I have a cosplay woe that I would like more opinions on. I know many people are sick to death of SAO cosplays, but I honestly have my heart set on being Silica since I love her character and I'm really small (5'0") and thin.

Problem is that over the past week, I've seen more SAO/red Silica cosplays pop up. I've already bought my red fabric and the nearest fabric store is over an hour ride to get to.
Should I stick with standard Silica? Or is it worth it to go through tons of trouble to be a Silica that only appears for a couple seconds? Which version do you guys think I should cosplay?

I love her ALO version. People will recognize you, even if you do that version. I cosplayed Silica when the anime had been announced but not aired yet, and you'd be surprised how many people actually knew me from the LN. Do her ALO version and you get to have cat ears and a tail.

I might bend and end up doing both (if I come across a sale on a suitable blue fabric) since Pina, the stockings, the shoes, the skirt, the belt, and the wig will stay the same.
