The Apple Bloom is far to slutty, doesn't fit the character and also the outfit in general looks crap also she works on a farm, HEELS?I can't see her stamping tree's in that outfit. Just no.... The hair is also wrong and the bow is far too pointy.
The Sweetie Belle, hair is far too long, hate these shitty lolita wigs and the outfit looks crap/badly sewn. The Scoootlo is okay, the 60's go go girl look is very fitting but something is just... off about this outfit.

Diff anon. I wouldn't go so far as to call it slutty, but I still think it's a crappy cosplay. Why? Especially with characters that aren't human/have a direct design, you really need to incorporate elements of their personality into your costuming choice. It isn't so much to me that the Applebloom is too revealing; it's that the outfit choice is so completely wrong for that character that it's a mislabeling.

I think she was going for a speed racer type of look to fit scootaloo's love for racing.


I really like Jia's interpretations. She knows she's not 10 anymore and still loves the show and wanted to cosplay her favorite characters. So rather than pretend she's their age, she made the costumes to fit her as well as the characters. IMO way more appealing than trying to hard to look younger

the set at photographer's site and facebook album, one pic at dash's dA and i'm thinking a handful at your tumblr.

how i found them, well, let's say i have an unhealthy interest in pony fanart, crafts and cosplay. that and was browsing dA's newest batch, saw dash and derpy, went to dash's dA, dash's dA pic credited photographer, and photographer wasn't hard to find. was quite the coincidence when i saw a pic posted on /cgl/ .
