In defense of /fit friday, /fit itself is pretty vicious and annoying when it comes to women asking fitness advice. Groopey aside the real problem is that there is no new generation of helpful posters. It's understandable that people will leave as people's interest changes. Back then we had a lot of helpful/encouraging trips such as Volpin, Hien, Freeman, Hatsuu, Helpful Shopper Person. Now that they left there's no one to fill the void. You can see people like Voxane/Electric Barberella, Ukraine, Maguma (when he's not arguing with other people), G and Potato be encouraging, helpful and on-topic but they just don't get the same amount of recognition/praise as someone who shit posts and causes trouble. Worst case is that their helpful threads are later derailed or forgotten in favor of troll threads and spam topics.
