FUNimation volunteer here! I was on the Steins: Gate side of the booth but ventured over there for the scavenger hunt activities. I thought the pole was a fun and cute thing that they did (though one person nearly broke the pole by launching themselves on to it on late saturday). The P&S cosplayers seemed to be in competition with each other though. (i.e.. one Panty cosplayer not related to FUNimation who was on the heavier side saw one of FUNimations Panties and said "Well she's thinner than me" in a condescending tone when her friend goggled at the FUNimation cosplayer. Regardless I have nothing but good things to say about FUNimation and this event! I didn't get on the pole but I got some heaven coins for me to use in my own P&S cosplay.

Not all of them start off fit and can do all the moves, but it takes some serious fucking strength to be able to hold yourself in most of those positions.I know a girl who when she started the pole fitness weighed in at around 230lbs, and in the last 6 months she's dropped to around 160lbs.Pole fitness is a great thing and I think it's something they should definitely instate in schools.
