I don't know if anyone else shares my feelings but I'll post this. To me 4chan is about not being the odd one out. So many of us are those people in the background, that its nice to go here and be united not by our name, looks, or status, but by our interests. Being anon, everyone is equal. Of course not everyone is the same, but we are on equal grounds. So when I see a thread full of trips I instantly feel like the odd one out. A feeling I come here to forget. So I just close those threads when it gets to much to ignore. I think trips should just be used to identify yourself in a particular thread, but not for universal posting. We only need to know who's who if someone is defending themselves, or in a progress thread or something. So to me its not that all trips are bad, its more so they its uncomfortable that they seem to overshadow the anon despite us being the majority.
