He made it for me; It was incredibly hot, and if it wasn't for having friends with me, I could of easily passed out. I had a bag full of water bottles and took breaks every so often to cool down.

The second time I went out in it, I took it to the convention center first and then changed into it, so that I could avoid the outside heat.

Wearing such a costume involves a lot of care to avoid over heating and dehydration, but as long as you are smart about it, it's well worth it for the overwhelmingly positive reactions from the public.
