Read all these stories so far and none of them are weeaboos. All I have seen are fujoshi (which makes large part of ladies who love anime sadly) and nerds, who unlike geeks and otaku no when to stop and not interfere do to having at least some level of social skills. If the person isn't calming that Japan is better than XYZ country for no reason other then being an anime fan than they are a weeaboo. The word gets thrown around way to much.

Went to Otakon a couple of years ago with a group of friends, we were doing a group cosplay on Friday and hosting a panel on Saturday night. So, Thursday we headed to the Noodle place, grab a bowl, then go to the hotel to drink. There was a group of really loud con kids in one corner that had pushed tables together at the noodle place, but it's Otakon, I think nothing of it.Friday, we go downstairs to eat breakfast at the hotel (prior to the Holiday Inn's renovation) before getting ready for the day. There's another loud group of con kids seated catty corner from us. Don't care. Go upstairs, get into costume.Costumes are on, go to the con, head for the fountains for our photos. There's a really loud Naruto group (haha told you this was a few years ago) near us. Think nothing of it, do our photos. After, we head to the dealer's room. We start off at one end and keep going around. There's a lot of people, but I finally notice we keep seeing a couple of the same Naruto kids. They're loud and block the walk way. But whatever.Buy some crap, go back to the hotel, change, hit up the room parties. Get on the elevator after, see the same Naruto kids. Kind of lol and say hi. Then go to my room.Saturday, day goes by fast, eat dinner at burrito place (in line behind loud Bleach cosplayers), go back to hotel, get stuff for panel, head down to con. We're in the elevator with the bleach kids. We end up following them down to the con. Then upstairs. Then down a few halls.

my weeaboo story Is about me. now I never used weebspeak as I believed saying things like "kawaii" when you dont speak japanese is disrespectful, anyway I did most of the usual things, I shopped at hottipic, wore cat ears to school, acted like the 'mysterious cold' anime girl but the worst part is I had an intense burning hatred for america (like neomagicneko intense) I would refuse to watch telivision unless it was anime, I would go around telling people how anime was far superior to "crappy american telivision" and whatnot. I even ran groups on forums saying how we should boycott american media. I had ~Otaku pride~ and all that shit. it was really bad. oh and I firmly believed that japan was exactly like it was portrayed in anime
