I was told Lolitas aren't big on stuffed animal accessories (unless you're a Sweet Lolita and/or the stuffed animal matches the theme of your dress). Is this true? Is it acceptable for Lolitas to use stuffed animals as accessories? Also, I would like to wear Lolita clothing. I wouldn't want to wear it all the time. Would Lolitas get mad at me if I did that?
>>
Do whatever, you're the one wearing the clothes you decide how it is done. However, fact of matter is stuffed animals aren't very versatile in terms of coordinating with your outfit and you will be shat on for being an ita who couldn't color-match out of a paper bag, not because you are a special snowflake who likes stuffed animals.
>>
I have plenty of Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma plushes - I don't include them in my coordinates unless perhaps it's themed that way. Why would I want to carry one around all day..? A stuffed purse is an exception, as it serves a purpose (although I'm not a fan of the AP horses and Btssb bunny bears and such).

And no, you don't have to wear it all the time, most lolitas don't because it's not practical.
>>
Only serious ~*lifestyle loli*~ assholes get their panties bunched over girls only wearing loli sometimes. Either way, for the love of god, leave your stuffed animals at home. That's embarrassing.
>>
I also think it's kind of... weird. Which I know sounds silly, lolita looks strange as is, but... I dunno, I feel like there's a difference between wearing a dress with stuffed animals on it and actually carrying one around with you.

That said, you can do whatever you want. But yes, others might be a bit embarrassed to be around you.
>>
OP here.
I wouldn't wear the plush on my dress, I would just keep it with me. I do that when I wear normal clothes, anyway.
Also, wouldn't people be uncomfortable around me if I were just wearing Lolita alone? Plenty of my friends get yelled at and strange looks for wearing Lolita. So would carrying a plush make a big difference?

Why the fuck?

>Also, wouldn't people be uncomfortable around me if I were just wearing Lolita alone?

Carrying a fucking stuffed toy around and wearing lolita, especially if it was sweet, would probably push you from "girl in weird clothes" to "weird sissy ageplayer" or something.
>>
OP again.
No, I don't carry around a plush all the time but if I'm not carrying anything else, I might.
I like cute things; I think plushes are cute. So I wouldn't mind carrying one around with me.
I'm pretty much someone with a "and 0 fucks were given that day" attitude so any strange looks I get are ignored. I just wanted to know if it was strange/unnaceptable within the Lolita community.
>>
OP, grow up. I like a large share of childish things myself, but carrying a stuffed animal around makes you look like you don't have a full deck of cards and probably poop yourself. I like my fair share of weird, childish, and interesting people, but I will avoid an adult holding a plushie like they were a mental homeless person.

It's kind of strange to randomly hold a giant toy with you. Not just lolita but.. with life.

Also, lolita isn't some super secret club you need permission from others to get into to (this seems to be a HUGE misconception among new people?). It's just a fashion style. You can wear whatever you want. But if you look like shit you look like shit. So.. try not to.

Uh huh. Sure.
OP is summerfag, lurk more, you probably want a bodyline dress, OTT sweet, etc.

Carrying a stuffed toy doesnt make you look moe or kawaii, newfag weeaboo.
>>
I wear sweet and hate animal purses or stuffed animal accessories. I think it looks cute on other girls who pair it up with a cute outfit, but for me, I feel to childish walking around with a big stuffed animal in my hands.

And lolitas aren't going to care about you not wearing lolita all the time. A majority of us don't anyways.
