I feel so much second-hand embarrassment while looking at Ashley's pictures. We have the same features ( minus the lips, eye color and the fact I actually took care of my upper lip ) and, like her, I was overweight and never really groomed my brows. It's creepy... like looking at a long lost twin. I wasn't the most popular girl -obviously- and got bullied constantly. I was just too lazy and didn't take care of myself. A couple years later and here I am: I lost weight, have nice eyebrows and am doing a lot better anxiety and depression-wise. I even snatched myself a wonderful man and he proposed in April. Not saying everything is butterflies and puppy breath, but if Ashley actually took care of herself I bet she'd be a lot better off. Just my two bits from an ex-Ashley-look-a-like. All this did was make me realize how ridiculous I looked one time... and that my nose is a lot bigger than I thought. That fucking nose.
To the last post in the last thread, I understand where you're coming from. I do find it strange for someone to use IBS to get attention as it's more of an embarrassing illness (?) than a 'so strange and unique' kind of thing. You know, Ashley is actually a decent person if you treat her like one. People tend to behave differently when cornered, especially when they are as young and unstable as she is. I don't think she really tried too hard to off herself, but there's no denying how unstable she is. She probably DID try to kill herself, but was not 'hellbent' on doing so, and she probably did get sent to Tuckers, but probably only for a psych evaluation and was under watch for a while. My friend didn't even cut himself and ended up on suicide watch for a couple days when me and his other friend reported him to the school councilor last year for confessing he was strongly considering killing himself.It could have been healing cutting wounds, because when I was young and stupid as fuck I cut like a pussy and ended up thin red lines. It looked pretty similar to what she posted when there were a lot of them really close together. If they really are healing wounds like she says, then luckily for her, they probably won't scar at all. I was a pussy about it though and only cut just enough for it to bleed. I hadn't ever talked to her until before the drama, and I messaged her trying to find out what her side was. I took it with a grain of salt of course, but it just seems like she is tired and wants this all to end. Treat her like a human being and she will behave as such.
