I know quite a few people who started playing on Ahri. I personally think you need to find a champ you really like and go from there, watch other people play them and look up guides.

If you like a champion enough you're gonna actually try to be good at them....that's just my thought anyway.

Jax sounds kinda cool if you're more of a heftier build, but depending on your skills and other factors, with your size you could pull off a pretty awesome Renekton / Nasus (in ult mode, perhaps?). I'd also think nunu skin to what this guys ( >>5812418 ) idea is pretty sweet.

LoL would be better to cosplay from than Dota 2 though, simply because of its massive fan base.
Note: Yes, the massive fan base is due to how much easier/simpler/lowerskillceiling than Dota 2 which it is, but cosplaying tends to favor popularity.

What actually makes pubs lose is when things go wrong, they turn on each other like brazilians even if they were to gain a mid game draft advantage / late game carry advantage.

You can surrender If you know you're going to lose and If you have an issue with playing with other people, you can just play with your friends.
But yeah, people shouting noobs in games where they're the ones at fault get really annoying.
Different characters play well at different stages in the game so doing bad early game can be made up for. Just try not to give the enemy team first blood or feed their carry.

It's funny that this one single user created map from WCIII became it's own genre called MOBA. I just call "MOBAs" what they are: DoTA clones. I am told there was an SC1 map that DoTA was based on, but I was pretty heavy into the user maps back in SC1 and I never noticed many Aeon of Strife games being played. DoTA was more popular by far.

But really who thought that a single map would spawn what, 3 or 4 different full games? What we have HoN, LoL, DoTA 2, Demigod...
