Yeah, I've got some ideas. I'll run you guys through the basic outline of how I'm thinking I'll do it, then if anybody has suggestions or critics I'd love to hear them.

So my kitchen is set up like pic related, except it also has a row of more storage drawers above each line of counters below. I was planning to make some sort of mini table to go between the two sets of counters, where I can stand and do things like chopping/mixing etc so that I am not always turned to the side. I was hoping to start the show by saying "hello everyone, thanks for tuning in to 'Shay No Ryouri' today we're going to be making ___" then I'll go ahead and make it, adding appropriate video cuts when things are baking or etc. I was also thinking that I might do "commercial breaks" where I will show a clip of me doing a dance, or answering questions that people have sent me.

While making the food I will tell stories or just chat with the viewers so that they don't get bored. Each show will be under 10 minutes I think.

As far as what I'll wear, it'll probably change a lot. I like the idea of wearing cute maid dresses or lolita dresses with aprons and etc, but those things will have to wait for a week or two since I don't have any at the moment.

I'm going to pick up a tripod in a week, but until then I can just prop my camera up on a bunch of stuff to get a good angle, haha.

Sorry I didn't pop in yesterday, I was practicing some general video techniques like expression and making sure I talk clearly etc. I was also looking around my house to check lighting and how things look in different places. C: I have a lot of ideas but I haven't got anything sorted yet. If anyone's about right now it would be nice to get feedback on some possible ideas or even suggestions!

Hey guys! I've been filming some outfits today, to see how I like doing outfit videos. I've uploaded some previews of the outfits to get some critique! I know they're kind of boring, but hopefully I'll have some more later. I'm trying not to reuse any outfits I already showcased in the competition.

Also, the lighting is immensely poor and it's bothering me. All my windows are open but it's still so dark, and it's 3pm here. Perhaps I can ramp up the brightness in After Effects?

It's hard to make out the definition of the skirt in number one, so I can't give much suggestion.
Number two needs stockings to be a little longer to get the full zettai ryouiki effect.
Number three is kind of cute. Do you ever wear your hair in a pony tail?
Number four seems to really disguise your shape in that shot.

As for lighting do you have any lamps you can move into the area? Everything helps, and if you can get the lighting fairly even then you probably can brighten it up pretty easily in an editor.

Thanks, Idolin! I think I fixed my lighting problem, so I took into account all of the other tips you gave and refilmed all of the other outfits. I'm halfway through them and adding a few more as well, so I'll keep you updated!

Outfit One: It's cute, but the asymmetrical skirt is throwing me off a little. Maybe add some cute patterned tights with bows or hearts to keep with the classy/cutesy theme?

Outfit Two: The shoes kind of throw me off a bit. The tan seems awkward and a little misplaced. Add some head accessories to get the cutesy look!

Outfit Three: I think this has the most potential, but it would be much cuter if you added the OTKs, switched the converse out for some cute street-wear, high-tops in black, and possibly put your hair in a curled side ponytail like some of the Japanese girls do! Also adding the glasses from outfit four would be adorable.

Outfit Four: I don't think this is too flattering, so maybe rework it a lot? The sandals are really throwing me off.

Overall you're super cute! I'm glad to see you in the finals.

The only deserving winner is Shaynii.

Amai needs braces. You might like to think that makes you a unique special snowflake. It doesn't. You are like the ugly friend that every girl wants, to make themselves feel better. Seriously, get it done while you are still young. It's only a few years.

As for the tan shoes, they actually have gold on them and match the gold polka dots, but I guess you can't really tell with this lighting. ;w;

I did put my hair in a side pony for the third one in the refilm! I'll redo it again with OTKs and the glasses as well. I'd curl my hair but unfortunately my curling iron isn't with me, and my straightener sucks..

I know for sure I won't be doing any makeup or outfit related videos haha.
I tried to think of some things I haven't seen before like perhaps a gardening video where I show how to grow certain plants like vegetables or flowers! Sewing or craft tutorials could possibly work aswell?
Another idea I had was storytelling, but only short stories that don't last too long. I was thinking I could tell different types of stories so sometimes really cute ones and other times some really creepy ones (my bedroom is at the top of the house, so when it's sunny during the day it's super bright, but if it rains at night it's really loud and creepy).
I'd like to do cooking or baking tutorials since I cook loads but Shaynii seems to have that down. c:
They're all just ideas right now so I'm open to any changes or tweaks.^^
