    • Attention 4chan extension/user script/archive developers: Some time in the next few days, we'll be rolling out a complete HTML rewrite of the imageboards.
    The design will remain the same, but the underlying HTML/CSS is completely new, and validates HTML5/CSS3 (with some tweaks to account for cross-browser compatibility).

    As a regular user, these changes should not affect you. You will need to update your 4chan browser extensions/user scripts when their maintainer updates them to be compatible with the changes.
    The official 4chan Chrome extension will be ready to go when the updates happen, and 4chan X should be ready soon. We'll post more details on the day of the migration!

    cgl, i'm trying to download xiu xiu meitu, that photoediting program. i know how, but i remember from a past thread that some anon had tips on how to install it to avoid all the crappy unwanted add-ons/potential spywear. does anyone remember how? this is the screen i'm at now.

    OP, I tried installing this today, and the setup.exe always says that files or components are missing. Did you that error too?

    It said that java is a known thing that will mess up installation but i haven't had any trouble getting to the window in op pic

    the java thing i came across hasn't seemed to be hindering anything on my system

    this is probably a really stupid question but have you tried just googling stuff about missing components in general and not just related to the meitu program? most everything i find about it is only relevant to the last version unfortunately.

    i think if you were really dedicated to getting it you could try on a different computer or try a system restore. I'm not great with computers by any means (i usually trip but dropped for this thread so people don't think i'm dumb T^T)
