returning the money would have been possible at all, it would have been
worth a try, but accepting the gift was your biggest mistake (please
note here since I know people are going to try and jump down my throat
about this post with durr victim blaming, you're not in the wrong, but
accepting the first gift was a mistake and I'll explain why) since that
gave him, in his his, a reason to believe you might be interested in
him, or at least you might "owe" him. Even with the others being
rejected, the fact you'd accepted a gift told him that maybe even though
you wouldn't accept gifts this time, you might in the future. As for
dropping contact, that's honestly the only and best thing you could have
done. Though have you tried just changing emails and things like that?
Loneliness and desperation can do crazy things. |
