Probably because she's 5'10" Also, probably muscle. I actually cosplayed Parasoul, but sadly it came out really meh since I decided to pull it off a week before the con.

I decided I wanted to cosplay Cerebella with the Harley Quinn palette. I'm going to make two hats. 'sleep mode" Vice Versa that will be for walking around con, and the large version that will be for photoshoots. I already have enough red and black fabric laying around to make most of the costume and the small hat. I'm going to have to buy more red to make full size Vice Versa. Also, I can get away with having a more accurate dress length since I'll be wearing white opaque tights with the HQ version. Also, going to build in some kind of corset since Cerebella's dress is actually built a lot like a bunny suit at the top, and the triangle patterned fabric across the front is actually just attached to her sleeves.

If I was really fit, I'd cosplay Ms. Fortune since I main her. I personally like the Morrigan palette(because, hell yeah Morrigan), and the vocaloids twin palette(Because it just looks really cool.)

I have a friend who wants to cosplay Peacock. I'm trying to work out a few ideas in my head to help make her costume extra awesome. I actually thought of an idea for photoshoot, to make some interchangable arms for her costume. She hides her regular arms behind her back. The shoulder part of the rig, would have the pvc connector joints, that we can insert and remove the different arms. That way, she can have all kinds of cool poses in her photos.
Also, I'd love to make her some cool props, like a plush Avery, Tommy 10-tons, Andy Anvil, and probably a "walking" bomb.
Of course, it really depends if she's up for my ideas.

There you go(Inb4 I'm called disgusting, fatass, blah,blah,blah. My clothing ended up twisting really weird so makes the fit look worse. Really, not one of my better costumes. It's what I get for deciding to make the costume a week before the con and doing a bad alteration job.

There's another Parasoul that's been floating around that looks much better that an Anon did. Electric Barbarella is planning to cosplay her, so she'll end up much better.

At least now when I do Cerebella, I'm going to do a much better job and the costume will be much better.

Yep. I'm only a 34D, so for Parasoul I doubled layered a regular bra with just a bit of padding, with one of Victoria Secret's bombshell bra. I overpadded because since my waist isn't as tiny as her's, giving it that extra padding creates a better illusion.

For Cerebella I'm going to have to pad as well, though I have to probably build in some padding and using some inserts to get the push I need.

The number is the size of the band (around your torso, under your boob). The letter is the cup size. For example a 32E would be a really petite girl with huge knockers, whereas 40A is hambeast mode. Or a dude with moobs.

Yeah, though some of the proportions are crazy. A few characters are a little more realistic like Ms. Fortune.

But then you get characters like Cerebella, who is a 32D(which means her underbust is 32", with a 23" waist. Parasoul is a 34DD with a 24" waist, Valentine's a damn 36E with a 25" waist and 40" hips. Pretty much you have to pad up and corset to get the right proportions. At least they're fairly covered up in a way that most of that can be hidden(which is going to make it MUCH easier for me with Cerebella since I can corset down my fairly well.)

I wanted to see, does anyone have any advice for Filias wig? I've been sitting here watching bad movies and trying to figure it out. Mostly the two tentacle/tendril things and getting the actual back hair thing to stay so flippy while being so long. I have a pretty good idea on how to do Samson.

and even just suggestions of other random characters from anime/vidya with really long gravity defying hair for ideas. I looked up some Seymour cosplays from FF for ideas but none of their wigs were very good.

Even though everyone doesn't like how I did my Filia I think if someone had more time to work on it it would look great. (I had 2 weeks which was my fault)

Basically what I did was grabbed a foam hat from Michaels and used that as a base. The tentacles are wire with expanding foam over them. The hair is cheap loose extensions from Sally's that I attached to the foam with a mixture of glue and water. What made mine look really gross was that I used too much glue because I was in such a rush.

Samson's eyes were lenses painted yellow and the teeth are craft foam. I tore up an old bob cut wig to attach to the craft foam hat.

I hope this helps and you can use some of my ideas to build off your own to make an awesome Fila!

Yeah, most of the corsets from places like Victoria Secrets and Fredricks of Hollywood aren't really good for actual reduction. I've got a slimmer from Walmart that's closer, but even that only reduces a few inches.

If you want some REALLY good, you'll end up having to buy a good steel boned corset or make one yourself. Usually the good ones are going to cost you at least $100 - $250. Usually closer to the $200 price range. People recommend Timeless trends. They do have a clearence section with corsets running under $100. So that's a good possible starting point.

yes. We have a Parasoul and a Filia for sure, but pretty much everyone is up for grabs though doubles are okay too. Some people have shown interest in Peacock, Valentine, Painwheel, and Squigly but I don't know if they're for sure since the con is still a while away.

As for the game itself, I haven't had this much fun with a fighting game in a little while. I love my marvel and street fighter but this is a nice breath of fresh air, especially after SF x Tekken which despite it's hype wasn't all I was hoping it'd be.

Planning a large cosplay group of almost the whole cast for Otakon this year. I've got Cerebella to work on, so hopefully I can pull off her cup size. My bust size is close to her's though a push up bra probably would help.

You can do either, I think long as you enjoy what you're cosplaying as is what's more important. I cosplay characters I main and characters I don't. I'm actually horrid with Yang Lee in SSFIV but I love his character. I main Bang Shishigami and I'm gonna cosplay him, but I also main Arakune and I ain't cosplaying that.

Also things are a lot easier when you have character loyalty. Makes it easier for me to cosplay certain characters haha.

For me, I like the cast, I think even Double is neat. I personally main Ms. Fortune, but honestly, just looking at my Parasoul, you can see I'm better suited for other characters. If I didn't like Cerebella I wouldn't bother cosplaying her.

more on the weirdness of Valentine. The screenshots and official art tend to disagree on which side her "dress" closes on. The static official art looks like right over left, but since she's a ninja, I feel like it should be left over right (like it is in other art)

The way her dress is, I'd go with the offical art. In game, the character mirrors whichever side they're facing. Noticed it when I saw the diamond on Cerebella's face switch sides.

Ever since the concept art has come out for skullgirls I've been yearning to do Filia. My con haunts are Katsu and Otakon. I've got a good idea how I'd tackle the wig. I've been having fun watching my husband play (occasional player, but I love watching).
