Also, since this is a good place to mention it. I work at a bookstore and yesterday this disgustingly, scary skinny girl, her hands were like the crypt keepers and her face was hollow and sunken, came up to me and returned some books. There actually isn't that much to say. Obviously it is a banned substance, but it really isn't that hard to obtain off the internet.
I ordered some pills containing Dextromorphine from the US, they came to me about a week later, paid around £42 in total for a batch of 100 pills.

You're supposed to take one in the morning, one in the evening before you eat and before you exercise as it curbs your appetite immensely and gives you more energy with which to work out with. One of the side effects is that it also sends your heart into overdrive, so you don't take a pill before you sleep or you will be up ALL night.

When I started taking them my appetite pretty much began to dissipate by the first day, I was literally surviving on an apple a day, sometimes a cube of cheese, sometimes nothing.

After a while I began to notice some unpleasant side effects. I'd almost pass out when standing up, I'd get hit by sudden bouts of dizziness and nausea, vomiting and cramps, and my heart wouldn't stop pounding. One time I completely fainted after some exercise, then I passed out during sex, but I lied to my boyfriend, said I' just been a little tired lately.
He didn't know what it was I was doing, I was obsessed with losing weight.

After about 2 months I'd lost around 35lbs, my clothes were getting bigger, my thighs smaller, I felt INCREDIBLE.

    cont.

Awesome. She needs a prescription then.

Go to your doctor OP if you actually "need" it.

    >Duromine is only recommended for use among patients who are medically classed as heavily overweight or obese. Only people with a BMI (Body Mass Index) greater than 27+ and who suffer from a related illness such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure or diabetes are normally considered as suitable candidates for the drug.

It was a hot day, I'd taken my morning dose and laid down on the sofa until the dizziness passed, easing myself up in case I collapsed again from standing up to quickly. My boyfriend and I decided to go get ice cream.

We were walking down the street and I just remember it being so hot, so very, very hot. It was so hot and my heart was pounding, suddenly realized I couldn't speak, I was slurring my words and my eyes weren't focusing on anything. I could see my boyfriend with his hands on my shoulders and his face wrinkled up in concern, then my knees gave way.

I woke up in a hospital the next day. I'd had a heart attack and then my heart stopped in the ambulance that come to pick me up. I had to explain to everybody what I had been doing, my boyfriend cried, my mother went to my flat whilst I was still in hospital, ransacked my place for the pills and any other meds she thought I might be using for weightloss. Shit was so fucking embarrassing, the doctor gave me a scolding too.

I have to take some meds for the next few months because my blood pressure was enormous, but I returned to normal pretty quickly afterwards - that includes all the weight going back on.

All in all, not worth it... but it does work.

I will never understand this sort of roundabout way of losing weight by drinking some concoction of this, or a mixture of that. If alternative medicine worked it would simply be called "medicine". Losing weight is a basic concept, so just find out your BMR and daily caloric needs, and start counting/cutting your calories. It's much simpler and it will always be effective.

How the fuck is that coddling? I've been telling OP this is a terrible idea for the whole thread. You don't even know the girl you're talking about and you'll never see her again.

Take a long hard look at yourself.
This is about you and the kind of person you are. Not how well you can play it off as if it's something to do with -their- character flaws.

You're going to brush this off right now. Maybe even later in your day. Then make a joke or two and pretend you're trolling. You'll come to realize there's something off about yourself that really needs to be addressed.

And read a fucking book for fuck's sake. Maybe they should give your job to someone more knowledgeable and personable. Wait, not simply 'maybe'.

I personally used to eat before i'd smoke, so that way i'd realize that the munchies i get aren't actually from being hungry, it's just a physiological side-effect of the weeds.

I also (and i'm not 100% sure about this, cause it cant exactly be studied under current law) think that as THC and CBD are leaving the bloodstream/breaking down, they speed up the metabolic process a bit. I smoke almost every day and haven't gained any of my weight back for whatever reason.

But, that being said, this is just what worked for me. Everyone's body is different and i'm sure some people wouldn't be comfortable just because of the quasi-legal nature of cannabis.

I used to take pills back when I was a size 16, they worked and got me down to a 13... Then my dad found saw them and threw them away, this was about three years ago. He told me that if i really wanted to lose weight, he would help me find a diet and a workout schedule.

We tried that, and I gained it all back. I don't have a problem with eating too much though .My meals consist of a bowl of fiber cereal in the morning, then a meal when my dad gets back which usually consists of a meat/fish with veggies. Finally at night just a glass of milk with a banana. For some reason though, it's really difficult for me to lose weight. The only time I truly lost any was with those pills. My sister and I were using them at the same time, she got some heart problems but there were no abnormalities going on with me. It actually helped me get rid of my acne and made my stamina better. I'm planning on using them again, will dump pics of before and after and what the pills i was taking were. The heaviest one is me last year before I decided to do anything about my weight.

What are you drinking during the day though? I suggest if you are really having a HARD time losing weight go to your doctor first so you can find out why and so they can give you the type of pills you need.

Why would you risk your health like that? Even if it didn't do anything bad to you before, it could this time. Clearly it's a possibility if it happened to your sister.

Honestly I think you should see a doctor first and figure out why you're having a hard time losing weight, and have them help you find out a way to do it. If you honestly were eating that healthily and exercising but not losing any weight at all, there must be an underlying issue and taking those pills isn't going to fix it.

It will really depend on your genetics, getting legs that thin that is. No matter what people tell you yes you CAN decrease muscle mass.

I'd look into Visual Impact for women and check out the authors note on decreasing muscle mass here: http://fitnessblackbook.com/muscle-building/how-to-lose-muscle-mass-on-purpose/

not specifically diet pills, but when i was on adderall i lost weight so quickly. i would go all day without eating, just feel so totally engrossed in whatever it was i was doing i didn't even remember to eat. felt totally energized and got a lot of exercise. at night i'd have a really light meal. the first few days of being on it i'd throw up anything i tried to eat (even just a banana). weight loss was really quick.
fuck i need to get back on that.

for all the people wanting diet pills, if you aren't clinically overweight the doctor won't prescribe them to you. my BMI says i'm at a 'normal' weight to slightly underweight but i'm currently about 10-20 lbs heavier than i feel 'best' at and i have a lot of bodyfat. doctor wouldn't give me appetite suppressants. if you have any medical history of an eating disorder they obviously won't give them either. best look for something otc or something that cites weight loss as a side effect.

I know of the risks, but nothing seems to help. Heck if there was a better way I'd do it. I've decreased my workouts because for some reason, my endurance gives in. Now i'm only doing 20-30 minutes even though I used to go a full two hours. Right now I'd just about do anything to be able to lose all this weight.

Pic is of me after the pills, I gained about 10 pounds... tried to keep it at bay with rigorous workouts, but i can't go any lower, especially with how it seems like the more I work out, the lesser my stamina.

there are no magical pills, there are supplements to help weightloss next to having a healthy and balanced diet and working out properly though

http://www.hotnfit.com/ecstack is a pretty normal "cutting" supplement in the fitness environment, but as with all pills you they can be bad for you if used wrongly.

before even contemplating using something like this educate yourself and don't listen to other people, especially not on 4chan. people will be biased to one side or the other, make up your own opinions.

i've been taken the ec stack for a while, in intervals, it curbs appetite and gives more energy, also proven in studies to boost metabolism by about 10%-ish. i got it along with a blood pressure monitor when i first tried it to see if i had any spikes, did not, was fine, happy with it, helps a lot, that's my experience.

all you need to know about the stack is on that link, along with potential dangers, how to use it, if you should use it if you have certain conditions etc.

there are no shortcuts to getting /fit/, remember that.

If I put more effort into it, I could have lost much more by now, but at least I stopped pretending my body would just lose weight by me thinking about it hard enough. The Hydroxycut curbed my apatite and got rid of a lot of sugar craving as well as an energy boost, I only had one side effect, which was nausea if taken on an empty stomach. Other then that, I also used the Zija diet pack, which is suppose to be more natural and plant based, it works, but that shit is expensive.

The thing with gaining muscle is, if you don't like how you look, stop lifting weights.

It's not like getting fat where you can do it accidentally, just from everyday activities/habits. You can really control how far you go.

Then get rid of that fear by not being ignorant anymore. Learn how your body actually works, learn what it can actually do/become, and as others have said this is a GRADUAL process. At any point if you don't like what you see you can stop.

Chances are you should hop over to fit and see what people eat and do on a cut, and mimic that for a couple months before even pretending like you know enough to make a decision on not wanting to be "muscly".

Kudos for not being a total moron like the OP though, she's either going to kill herself with drugs, or do the drugs, nearly die, put on all the weight she lost when she's not taking them anymore, and then kill herself for being "omg so not kawaii fattie".

cutting is when you eat 500-1000 calories below "maintenance" which is the total amount of calories your body will burn in 24 hours. exercising while on a cut will maximize fat loss and prevent muscle loss as much as possible, it is the healthy way of slimming down.

bulking is the opposite, eating 500-1000 calories above maintenance to build maximum muscle while gaining minimum fat.

the total amount of calories your body expends in 24 hours is calculated with a few different but pretty easy formulas based on age, height, weight and how much you exercise

http://www.liamrosen.com/fitness.html this is the old /fit/ sticky, it is pretty awesome for answering any beginner questions about weight loss or muscle gaining, for both girls and guys, also provides links

I seriously doubt it, me and my dad are very serious about our weights. Back when I was little I admired him, so I stopped eating. I escaped anemia and the doctors decided that I needed weight in me, so they just told me to eat 'til I got to a healthy weight. I did, and I used to work out with my dad back when he worked at home. For a while I was okay, and then as I grew up I just started to gain weight. It's very hard to keep it as it is. I was about to re-lapse before I started to take the pills, I just stopped eating. Then it was to the doctors again. I don't know if it's because of the anemia or what, but it really depresses me that even though I cut down even more of what I eat and work out until I'm drenched in sweat, after a month, there is no change.

I used to think I was "naturally chubby" too until I actually began tracking what I ate. I use MFP to enter everything I eat (literally everything, including beverages). It may not seem like you're eating a lot when you're not starving yourself, but you probably are.

You can't keep up extreme diets/exercise routines for long periods of time. I limit my calories and work out 45 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Since December I have gone from 156 lb to 138 lb (16 lb loss) and I look and feel loads better.

Gotta say this again: Your body does not defy the laws of science. You are not the exception to the rule. Unless you have a thyroid disorder, you have basically no excuse. And if you do, there's treatment.

    >Sure, if you're obese; someone her size can't lose weight that quickly without incurring major health problems.

This is a common misconception, actually. The reason for the promotion of "2 lbs a week is the most you can lose in a healthy way" is because that is the amount of weight the average person, with a "regular" schedule, can lose by eating a reasonable amount of food and getting in 30 minutes of exercise a day. It's completely possible to lose more than 2 lbs in a week and still be healthy, whether you're obese or not.

Also, a ballet class is about 2 hours of exercise, and I do light exercise/stretching for 45 minutes on my off days. I don't have time for any more exercise than that (I don't know who has time for more than like 8 hours of exercise per week). I think it's the implication that the women's bodies in the middle have also been surgically altered, rather than achieved just from diet/exercise. Whereas the ones Jellyfishy added are results of fitness and no additional cosmetic procedures, thus making them better representations of what really happens to girls when they lift.

Also, to those of you who are terrified of lifting, I've just gotta say: I've been lifting for over a year now, and it's seriously one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm a dancer/runner, too, so that keeps me in good shape and I didn't really "need" to start lifting, but I wanted to give it a shot. And now I love it. It's so empowering, and I just love dat feel my muscles get after a good session. I'm not bulky or built or anything like that, and honestly I'm still a work in progress, but lifting is helping me reach the goals I've set for myself. I just hate seeing so many girls missing out on such an amazing activity because they have this whacked-out idea that they'll turn into a female Lou Ferrigno overnight if they start picking things up and putting them down.

I strongly, strongly encourage you guys to check out this Reddit post: http://www.reddit.com/r/Fitness/comments/nue8c/6_month_progress_weightlifting_female/ Especially if you're overweight and don't want to do cardio, lifting is a GREAT solution!

    mah nigress!

ladies it's muscle that give you form.
a girl with some muscle underneath is always
going to look better than a girl with none.
all those sports models and female athletes
always seem to have dat ass because they
    do squats.
You guys can build some muscle to give you
shape and cover it with enough body fat
    so you don't look muscley.
Basically you control how defined the muscles
look by how much fat you cover it with.
In addition, having more lean body mass (muscles) allow you to consume more calories.
Do you girls want to be eating 1000 calories
for the rest of your lives?

the picture is of allison stokke. one of the girls
i find very attractive ( in her fit form).

made this collage for you guys
1st photo is 2009, she was in shape for pole vaulting.
2nd photo she got fat as you can see with most
college girls. the alcohol does that to you.
    7 cal/gram.
3rd photo is 2012, she's back in fighting shape.

What i want you guys to get out of the photo
is that you get to control how "muscly" you look
    by covering it with bodyfat.
1st and 3rd photo may be a turn off to you guys,
but take a look at the 2nd photo. with more
fat covering her muscles, she looks (disgusting to me) less manly.

not really. I'm the same, even after losing weight(do to getting sick or also when I was in shock for about 3 months) my legs still stayed around 18"-19.5" I think the smallest they got was 16" but I was underweight by about 20lbs.
keep in mind my body shape is that one where it's not quite pear(i.e shoulders and hips are in balance), but not quite hourglass(small boobies, but again, shoulders and hips and ribcage are in balance but I have a waist that's anywhere from 10-11" smaller than my hips(usually 8" with my bust)

so unless you actually have weight to lose, the answer is no unless you want to lose weight to an unhealthy point and it starts breaking down the muscle. To which afterwards you'll regret your future flabby legs

c)it's very common for overweight people to underestimate how much they eat and over estimate how much they burned in relation to what their body needs.(opposite is true with underweights)
d)it's also very common for people to "snack" and not be aware of it, or just plain ignore it "I'll just burn it off later lol"

you tend to see this a lot. especially on shows that focus on healthy weightloss/getting reasonably fit. It's almost always the person goes to a party or social gathering, has one glass of wine. then another. then ends up eating a cupcake or just the icing etc
there's other good examples found in documentaries about 'why fat people are fat'. There's one where they even had people's metabolic rates tested(which where always higher than average because more weight=more energy required to move and do basic functions), medical records tested etc.

though obviously in those shows there are people who really don't cheat at any point, and guess what. they lose more weight than those that do cheat. Even if they didn't realize how badly they "cheated" (whether that be by eating or not exercising as well as they thought/claimed)

you said you did 1500calories. while it's a good number for some. For some people(especially shorter people) around 1200-1300 calories would be more ideal.
I'd also suggest you get a trainer or something to make sure you are working out as efficiently as you claimed

I'm having issues loosing weight and after talking to my nutrition professor, she informed me that I am not eating ENOUGH.. (my body thinks I'm starving myself so its always storing as fat)
I've been stuck at the same weight and size for the last year now with no change whats so ever! The problem is that I can't seem to force myself to eat more than what I already do... I eat till I'm full..

I eat around 900-1000kcals a day, sometimes pigging out to 1200kcals. Some days I don't eat breakfast but eat a well balanced lunch and dinner. Usually veggies, fruits, protein (either fish, chicken, or legumes).. I mainly snack on carrots or peppers or really any type of fruit or veggie I can get my hands on <3 I drink at least 2-3 bottles of water a day, along with tea, my current favorite is kombucha <3

Now I am doing p90x on and off and riding my bike as much as possible, along with walking and practicing my dancing.. I usually burn around 300kcals a day with that.

What am I doing wrong.. I'm tired of squeezing myself into my size 6 jeans...

Depends on what you're looking for. A lot of steroids and pseudoephedrine/ephedrine doesn't need a prescription: see ephedra in herbal form, antihistamines and ventolin.

One item which I will not mention isn't even sold as a human drug at all, it is sold as a generic paint retarder in capsule form to be mixed into your solvent. Because it's manufactured for industrial purposes it has traces of heavy metals and so on that's toxic for human consumption, but anyone who is serious about fine arts would know about it.

Pills rarely do what they say they will. I am getting all the inspiration to burn off my winter weight [it's still wintery back home too] by being here in Florida at Disney. Never seen so many overweight families with young children and even just groups of teens etc. here to vacation. I only gained about 6 lbs over the winter but still, when I get back, I don't care how fucking cold it is outside, I'll be jogging and fuck it all, I'll going to launch my canoe. The water is open, just 40ish degrees.

Honestly though, lifestyles have changed in such a way as to increase the number of overweight and obese people. Back in grade school I could name only 2 "fat kids". Now that I teach, I see so many "fat kids" I lose count. It's sad, but the change starts with the desire. Being in Florida has given me the inspiration to get back in shape and keep myself in shape from now on without the minimal winter weight gain.

Way to skinny for every normal taste. If i pet a girl i want to feel her soft and smooth skin - i don't want to touch her bones.

Btw. breasts are fat. If you reduce your bodyfat level so hard - well.. you will "lose" your breasts too. Also your waist. If it gets smaler and smaler - tighter and tighter you will have problems to give brith. Mother Nature made woman bodies to have some fat. It protecs your organs and its there to warmth your body. It also give you these curves men like. Most men don't want girl with bodies like 13 year old guys. I am happy that they got it right - most of them.

Don't change your body like youn look like a skeleton.
    1. It is not atractive
    2. It is not healthy

Look at the picture. If I see such a starving woman, like the on in the red bikini, then i ask myself: " why does she wer a bra/top? there are no boobs."

LMAO Tans show more muscle definition. That's why all the pro body builders tan and use oil. It's more for show.

The only way to get tan is through exposure to the sun or a tanning bed... or in rare cases, chemicals that change skin pigment though that is very rare indeed. Lifting won't make you tan anymore than eating Swedish food will make me Swedish.

Don't let what you see on the internet deter you from progressing.

If you want a mid-way solution, yes, make up the colories, but pick really healthy stuff. It's not always how much you eat, it's what you eat. So if I were you I wouldn't suddenly add an extra 500 kcals in pasta, bread and cake, or starchy foods that will make you bloated. But you can always add 300-400 kcals by making a couple of big, fresh smoothies every day.
