To be honest I never did get into Homestuck, so I can't really say. Though I do really wanna do a Sepulchritude cosplay. Especially with both sword and SMITH CORONA BLOTSPITTER.

I apologized profusely. She never answered. I assumed it meant she wanted nothing to do with me, especially after her rants.

I thought about photographing the invoices on the lenses and frames to prove we barely broke even (sometimes we lost money when the lenses broke during the drilling) but I've been on the verge of quitting for months so it seemed like a moot point.

It kind of did. I really appreciate that but it's mostly my fault in the first place. There were so many things I could have done better. I should have taken control in the first place and said "We're working with the original designers, deal with it," instead of feeling the need to toadie to the boss' associate who does all the actual business stuff. This caused negotiations with Hussie's girlfriend to get put on hold, and by the time our own drama (within the store -- one of the four of us quit) died down, it was apparently too late.

Ok, I will try to explain It to you simply.
Andrew Hussie, the creator of Homestuck, makes his living off the merchandise from the comic. He has no other job, Homestuck IS his job.
Expecially recently, there has been a lot of problems arising from people selling Homestuck merchandise that was not given the OK by him. A lot of fans were very angry about this.
To fix things a bit, they made a Sales FAQ for Homestuck and the fans were still angry.
Things like single art commissions were given the ok, while things such as prints and anything 3d were not allowed.
Now this may seem very unfair, but they do have It so that If you send them an email explaining the situation, sometimes they will give you the ok for selling certain things.

Personally, I understand where they are coming from, but I don't see the issue with selling things that they are not currently selling.

Actually, that image was posted in response to someone about the fact that we both followed the same Homestuck blogs. That gif is from one of the blogs. The John is the same as the one that was posted beforehand.
I don't mind the Karkat, but the hollowed out 3D glasses do irritate me. But, as you can see in the previous John image, they have different glasses for John now. She also used to bite her bottom lip to give the bucktooth effect, but she got actual teeth for It now. She improved on everything that required It, she's a good cosplayer.
