I like short hugs, those are fine. It's the ones where people don't let go of you that are uncomfortable for me. But I'm usually not a very approachable person so I don't get hugged a lot anyway. I'm just really shy so a lot of people think I'm being an asshat and rude by not talking to them enough or something.

I grew up in a household that did not promote the prospect of love or affection. Neither of my parents would ever hug or kiss each other or their children. For this reason, I grew up finding physical touch extremely uncomfortable. Both my siblings are like this, too. I hate being touched at all, nonetheless in any affectionate manner.

I used to really hate being hugged to the point where my friends would make fun of me for it. They would come after and hug me just to say how funny and cute my awkwardness was.

I got used to it though. I mean cosplaying popular characters at an anime con basically ensures you being hugged whether you want to or not. Not that I really "like" hugging. I only do it because there are times when you kinda should.

I suppose this has to do with hugging people at cons uh..
I really like to hug, but people always hug me awkwardly since they say that they can feel my bones/back spine and that they're afraid to squash me, my friends only hug me tightly if I'm wearing a coat or a sweatshirt , if I'm wearing only a t-shirt it's just awkward.

I have an intense fear of being touched, so I hate hugs. I can't even help my reactions to being touched anymore. I am kinda the opposite, my family was VERY touchy feely (smooch on the lips type touchy) as well as strangers in the area I grew up in so I guess being a natural subversive person I ended up not enjoying physical contact when I got to a certain age.

All of them know their boobs touch when they hug. Many don't care and still see it as a platonic act (which it can be and still is most of the time). Some enjoy doing it with guys they think are hot, or if not enjoy, they want to try and get the guy to notice them. But the majority of the time hugs are non-sexual, so don't get the wrong ideas. There are ways to make them sexual, but that shit gets weird quick if it's not someone you have a romantic/sexual attachment to or have at least been flirting a lot with.

I've never been a touchy-feely person. Ever since a creepy guy I had just met in a con gave me a hug that lasted way too much and rubbed my back while he was at it, I only shake hands or give a kiss on each cheek (standard greeting gesture here) to anyone I don't know well. Huh? The only bad experience I had was when this guy working at a plushie stand asked me if he could take a picture with me and of course I said yes. I stood next to him (he was sitting down on a chair) and out of nowhere he grabed me and tried to make me sit on his lap.
