We do, we are well aware that we look downright retarded to normal people. But after wearing goth fashion since highschool and wearing lolita for 4 years, Lolita is so normal for me that when people stare at me I briefly wonder what they are staring
at. Staring is fine however, staring and questions are just curiosity, harassing me however is goddamn rude, and I sometimes wonder what gives people the idea that just because I am dressed like a freak, that gives them permission to yell things,throw things, follow me and take pictures of me when they think I am not looking.

I do hate the attention, but I'm stubborn and will not let strangers discourage me from wearing what I like.

This wasn't a school-sanctioned event. She decided to do just because. Don't know the girl too well but I've heard of her and she seems way too narcissistic for me. I've seen her wearing lolita outfits in campus and having photoshoots around school. Of course, she gets weird looks from people.

I can confirm this. I grew up there and every school uses a chalk board and old desks. And normally we wear uniform. My school wasn't as bad though. But generally the equipment was pretty bad. And that was a private school, public schools are just shitholes.
