Well I can't decide if I want to do Pinkie Pie in a baker's dress with an apron and little chef's hat or a pink party dress with a blue bolero.

Pic related, the idea of the Baker's dress. Except I would make white poofy sleeves and the skirt would be fluffy.

I can't tell if you're saying this is a great idea, or that it's dumb.
I think it's pretty cool. I think it'd be fun with another girl as happy Pinkie.
Maybe you could add some running mascara, or shred up the hem of the skirt a bit.

Anyway, on the topic of this pic- I really want someone to do this spike. It's not terribly in character, but I just like it a lot.

If anyone cosplays Vinyl Scratch. Pon3 in here, may I give a piece of advice as to making her outfit more like a Raver/DJ rather than....a Vocaloid themed outfit.

I saw a girl cosplaying Pon3 version of Miku once, and I.... oh..

It could just be because I really don't like everyone making something that's robotic or music themed into a vocaloid. (Like the MMD version of GLaDOS.)

Yeah, see I just grew out of it. One day I just stopped collecting ponies. I was prime marketing age when the toys came out in the early 80's, so I played with those and Jem dolls. It's just kind of funny looking back and thinking that I'm watching ponies now and loving the hell out of it when I used to play with them as a tot.

Well Rainbow Dash has only been around since G3, which just started in 2003 and had direct to DVD cartoons. Early 90s had the My Little Pony Tales cartoon, and then later in the 90s the G2 toys. Although all the 90s stuff was the weakest out of the whole franchise, well 3.5 was kind of awful too.

I only remember watching the show.

The only time that I might of seen G3 was when I was on vacation in Florida with another family and their younger daughter watched nothing but Strawberry Shortcake and MLP.

Nawh, the most overdone cosplays are gonna be the most overdone ponies... and that would be Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.... Applejack is just the most over-STUPIDLY-done, next to Fluttershy.

I can't say I've noticed one pony cosplayed more than the others. The only thing that makes me sad about pony cosplays, moreso than skimpy designs, is the overall absolute lack of effort with the wigs.
