What's with all the BS lately? Seriously, drama here, drama there. Most I've seen on this board lately is people complaining about other people not looking "perfect". Fat hating threads, "what's an attractive height" threads, and a whole lot of other BS. It's like hater and shallow/superficial threads everywhere with a sprinkle of what this board is actually about.

I understand that this is no contribution to what I really want to see coming from this board but I just really felt the need to point out all of the ridiculousness going on in here. I normally enjoy this board but this past week has been horrible with all the hating and "look at me trying to feel more superior than people that aren't like me or think the way i do". It's sickening!

So with that said, how about we start up a good ol' cosplay thread? Post your favorites, ones that make you laugh, all that jazz!

Sure, there's always been BS going on. It's just been horrible as of late though. I would like to see more positive than negative around here, even if it's just for a little bit. I'd rather have smiles and laughter than wasted energy of people getting angry and arguing left and right.

I'm consistently baffled that people are surprised when a board dedicated to a hobby of recreating fictional characters at cons and in photoshoots would be shallow to some degree.

Particularly with the constant surprise by the "fat hate" threads. We're shallow hobby based on looks as much as on costuming is that really a surprise? Really?

I can understand why people would care about how a person looks in cosplay. I believe that people should dress up as someone appropriate to their body type. However these "fat hate" threads have been targeting fat people or anyone one not fit or skinny in general.
