For the most part. I dropped a 5th costume because of financial concerns, as well as to focus on not being a terribad student.

Clovers almost fixed up, just need a new blouse and to repaint my shoes.

I need to get pants and shoes for Ivan

I need to repaint Athena's bauble, and play with her wig a bit.

I need to make a headband and sew lace onto socks for Ameto.

I feel like I'm in a pretty good place! Super pumped, I don't get out enough. I hope to have fun meeting most of you!

I'm ready in that I'm excited... and yet costume-wise I am so not.
The only thing that's truly good to go is God Tier Jade which is great because I'm wearing her first day... but other than that, shiiit, so much to do. Still have to finish the feathered wings for Eternal Sailor Moon, as well as the wire/cellophane wings for God Tier Vriska, need to do detail work on ESM/her staff and Vriska's tunic.... uuuughhhh.

Other than that, though, I can't wait!

Last years Katsucon was my first con and my first time cosplaying. I had a pretty shitty costume, plus I was really overweight and too autistic as fuck to make any friends, so it was pretty meh. Now I've lost a shit ton of weight and I have a decent costume. Still autistic as fuck though.

I'll bring hors d'oeuvres or snacky foods to the meet up. Also anyone on the facebook group should talk about what drink we wanna make~ maybe organize what people should bring so we have cups and all that nonsense.

When i went as Ryoko, people were making jokes left and right, and making gay jokes about my Tenchi as well. It was A BLAST! We had a well sized Tenchi group at Dcon one year, and alot of the older anime fans got a real kick out of our git-ups.

Well actually, the one scheduled for 2am probably will be 18+ with all the clips from violent early 90s anime OAVs and other insanity I plan to throw into it. I'll run a panel as late as 3am or so, but this one was scheduled to run til 5am...
Sorry, but with the Gaylord checkout being at 11am and I also have a 1pm panel on Sunday as well (my intellectual one at that!) I'm not staying up that late; especially if I might have to be up before 8am the on Saturday.

At the least they might just swap Awesomely Bad with my 4pm Iron Chef Japan panel as I suggested be done, although then I'll have to worry about being in a smaller room.

One year they put my panel in a 8pm slot on friday, and gave me 2 hours instead of 1. They also didn't inform me i had a panel to run until a week before the convention. I ended up winging the whole panel, and 20 people showed up. It was fun but after an hour i told people to get lost because i ran out of stuff to talk about.
When i emailed, them, they told me they are reviewing every email they received back, so they aren't ignoring you, they are most likely just trying to find you a diff slot. That would be great if you could show up at my panel! I know its at noon on Friday, so i don't blame people for not going.

Yeah, this happened to me the last time I was able to host Awesomely Bad at Katsucon in 2009, they gave me one time slot, printed up my fliers for it with the time and room on it, only to find when I got to the con that they had moved my panel to start a half hour earlier than what my fliers were saying. So annoying, but I'm use to this with doing panels at over half a dozen cons for years now.
