Being charismatic helps, just as being pretty helps. But it was luck that caused it all. Being in the right place at the right time.

She's not awful at least but she's not talented at cosplay. She might be talented at others things, I have no clue. There's many people who are quite exceptional at cosplay, however.

It's just normal to want one of the best cosplayers to represent you, rather than a mediocre pretty one.

I'm not debating that she isn't charismatic but had she not got that she still wouldn't be known right now. It helped her but it wasn't the catalyst.
