There are so many! I'm cool with it, but I just can't understand how heterosexuality has actually become somewhat of a minority in anime/con/cosplay culture.
I won't put her name because I don't think /cgl/ is too keen on her, but a girl who cosplays put a poll up on dA asking what people's sexuality was. There ended up being more bisexuals than straight people with many choosing undecided with a fuck ton of others being lesbian and 'other?'.

I really have nothing against it. I just find it odd.

Homestuck fandom or not, it doesn't really surprise me that guys & girls (mostly girls) do this sort of thing at cons, with all the yaoi/yuri mess that goes on & the fanservice stuff as well. Go on YouTube and type in yaoi anime convention or something along those lines and you'll see plenty of videos of boys performing yaoi or girls pinning each other to the wall making out, just becuase.

Guys, I kiss her because I love her, and the only time I do fanservice for camera is for like... Our once-in-a-lifetime photoshoots, not because you want "OMG-SMEXIIE-YAOI/YURI/OTP"-pics on your freekin' wall. Sorry, but just no.

Only time I can imagine kissing her for people's entertaiment when it comes to cosplay is when we're planning Ponyo's mom and dad. However, noone likes straight-pairings and they're one of my OTP's *sigh*.
