    Dear /cgl/

    I've been here since the board was red, since the Kipi floods, and more. I don't want to be one of those people 'that say 'the board used to be so much better,' but I do believe you have hit your low point. I think the attached image stresses the issue. I had to zoom out and hide replies to grab everything, but you can see the hidden non /cgl/ threads.

    This isn't a thread to point blame, because really everyone is to blame, no matter the type of poster you are. I truly believe this board could go back to being something interesting and worth posting to, rather than the cesspit it is now. You can claim we "don't have mods," but that's not how moderation works on 4chan (to my understanding.) The more reports something the gets, the faster it gets brought to a mods attention.

    All I'm asking at the least is to take 30 seconds to hit report and type in that captcha. I'm tired of hearing "reporting doesn't do anything," because it does. But it takes YOU to do that. And know that you have at least one other person here trying to clean up as well. But it takes a majority, not the minority to make this place better.

    I can deal with drama threads, they're at least vaguely cosplay related. This bullshit with other boards is getting old. It's not even the misogynist troll threads or TEBOW, it's the people who found out it's some sort of ~femanon~ treehouse and want to set up camp but don't actually have anything cosplay-related to contribute so they just makes threads about their virginity or if male pattern baldness is THAT big of a dealbreaker.

    The problem here is that everyone is accustomed to saying 'It's CGL, we're assholes, deal with it' in a lame justification attempt. I doubt many people here are genuinely interested in cosplay, hence the majority have no desire to better the board. Also, lolitas. They have 2 kinds of topics: talk about the same clothes over and over, or drama and gossip.

    There's actually been way less EGL-related drama on here compared to the cosplayers. I'd say the lolitas are more on-topic with the board than anyone else using it.

Yet I'd rather see 23423524 threads about a new dress or pattern or whatever than a single thread about PT, Peacockfeather, or this shitty ass ball drama going on.
