    It looks like I am only going to go to Otakon this year... and maybe AUSA... it just depends on how things an out. I am pretty much going balls out for both cons, and have actually already started on a costume for Otakon... so looks like it's be a good year...

    I'm kinda done with anime cons. They're just no longer fun for me. The anime con crowd in general has gotten to the point where it's ruining the fun. I've been doing this for about 6 years now. I don't know how to explain it. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, and the average age at anime cons seems to be about 17-18. It's that "weeboo-ness" at anime cons. I'm like, really? Urg......

    To answer the question. As of now, I am not planning on attending any anime cons this year. I will be at DragonCon 2012! I love that con! It's really the only con I goto and really have fun at. I don't have a single anime costume planned for it this year. Which would be a first for me.

    Fanime sucked last year. They where so damn disorganized last year. Stuff ran late. (Even for a con it was late!) No schedules where handed out. They wanted people to use the online schedule. What the hell was people like me suppose to do who doesn't have one of those smart phones! I know some guests and some vendors aren't coming back because of they way fanime treated them and the lack of real support they where given.

    I really am hoping to make it to Sakuracon again. It was amazing last year and the staff was bomb, and everything was so organized.

    At the moment I can't wait for Fanime because I've got several cosplay groups I'm in and I'll be hanging out way more than I got to at ALA.

    After that it's AX and any local Vegas cons.

    This. The least they could have done was to tape up schedules around main areas of the convention center. Hopefully they listened to all the complaints/suggestions and do better this time around.

    I'm worried that the the fees will continue to increase while the overall con quality will get to the point where it's not even worthy of its price tag. I still leave generally happy though; Fanime has a pretty good community.
