ALA was so much fun this year! It was super relaxing, and I finally went to an ALA /cgl/ gathering for the first time ever.

I got to meet a whole bunch of new people, including Powergirl, Harley, Red, and Duralath, and I got to hang (sadly briefly in some cases) with my bitches Don, Hanyaan, the Timmster, Freeman, Matt, Derpyhooves, and a whole bunch more that I can't remember offhand because I was tipsy and/or drunk for most of the weekend.

I don't have too many pictures (at least, not ones that I'll be posting on 4chan), but I'll be able to post them tomorrow. I flew home yesterday morning and went straight to work then fell into bed when I got home, and tonight I probably won't have time to edit.

Yeah, those would be pretty standard places. It's still a matter of discussing it with staff, having it approved, and so on. I'd rather it not be pay me prior, since I don't want to walk around with wads of other peoples cash and having to periodically just dump it somewhere till it's party time.

The Booth idea would be better. I even figured that the Info booth wouldn't be too bad of a spot.

Either way, all things to consider, and at the post meeting I'll bring these all up as suggestions and see what staff and execs say. Surprisingly enough they have no problem with me doing it again and gave me some ideas of my own. Pretty shocked they wanted me to do it again as an official thing. But we'll work out kinks and again, all feedback is good feedback.

I only stopped by the taco party to see if my friend was in the room, but the guys watching the door were really rude to us.
As soon as the elevator doors opened, this guy was standing there and he loudly said, "You guys need to shut up and stop talking NOW because there are pilots sleeping up here and peoples' lives are in your hands!"

I described my friend and asked if they had seen her up here, but they said to wait in line to find out. The line was huge and I didn't want to wait just to find my friend, so we turned around and left.
