What's your opinion of joke costumes? For the most part these are outfits intentionally done with poor effort but still get tons of positive attention.

Your thoughts on them?

I like joke costumes, but they get old. Especially if they are constantly in your face with them. Yeah, the first time you see a hairy fat dude in booty shorts and a belly shirt is funny, but the fifth time he runs by going "WOOOOO!" and grinding on someone you just want to punch him in his bouncing gut.

They're usually my favorites at any con, but of course it really helps to still put some sort of effort into it. And it helps to be fresh. First time I saw Brain Age Guy and Joey with the Top Percentage Rattata, I thought they were hilarious, but now that I've seen them at cons for years, they don't really register anything but a vague annoyance.

I wanna say the guys who did the sexy Megaman costumes at ALA this year are the same guys who do Super Yaoi Bros and maybe a couple of other things. That's definitely cool because they're running with a specific theme and keep it fresh at each con. Good shit. Also eyecandy mmmmmyeah boiiiiiiii
