I pretty much only go to the cons in Michigan since it's where I live (am attempting ACen this year tho). My favorite, bar none is Youmacon. Every year it manages to be the best time I ever have all year.

As for my least favorite: the Motor City Comic Con. It's like the opposite of youmacon - gets shittier every year and is just a giant dealer hall... and for some reason I keep going.

It wasn't bad, so much just kind of boring. I mean I can't complain too much seeing how it was free and I stayed with a friend at Gtech, but it just seemed very bare-bones. Momocon had no raves/dances, no major concerts, low selection of panels, etc.

For comparison's sake, Kami-con in Alabama was also free last year, had a rave, great guests, cool events such as a con-wide game going on, etc.
I'll probably go back to Momocon anyways just cause it's something to do and it also looks like they're gonna change things this year so it may be better. Also it should be noted that even though Momomcon was my least favorite con, it was still fun because a mediocre con is better than nothing at all :)
