That's not how it works. The page will be reverted to its previous state and locked from future edits. Believe me, you guys aren't the only ones who have tried to take down stuff from ED before.

Even if you came to the editors with this whole change of heart I sincerely doubt they'll do anything. The mods aren't omnipotent, there's a good chance the change you made was overlooked or no one was checking the edits at that particular moment.

The thing is, the more you guys bring PT's page to the mod's notice (ie making a lot of changes, trying to take down her info) harder it will be to make the changes without their notice. As far as I'm aware, websites like ED can act all big and haughty up until you actually threaten them with something serious.

Looking at the actual state of Sarahs ED page, it has nudes, home address, a catalogue of caps and screens.. it's pretty high tier as far as pages go. There is enough information on that page regarding Sarah that she actually could be legitimately raped or murdered by anybody who just took a fancy to it one day.
Not saying that she's going to be raped or murdered, but the point is that it would be ridiculously easy to find her and do something.

If you guys are really intent on getting this taken down then you're going to have to play Billy Bullshit. Somebody with good penmanship will have to write a few emails to whoever maintains ED about how Sarah is being harassed over the phone, at work, in person in her hometown of Victoria. There has been deaththreats made, Sarah is on the brink of suicide blah, blah etc.
You need to make sure you include that her information being readily available in such a manner is directly encouraging the threatening and stalker behaviour and that you're giving them one notice to remove the information, that could directly or indirectly lead to her death, before you go to the local officials/enforcement with proof that the information and imagery being hosted on the site is directly responsible for the recent harassment she's been undergoing. You can't be nice about, no "please" and "thank you's", you have to be a real grade A cunt about and type like you really fucking mean business.

You are so very wrong here. In the USA there is almost nothing anyone can do about an ED article.
- A person can only sue for "libel" or "slander" if they can prove they have a legitimate reputation or franchise that is being damaged, so it doesn't work for average joes.
- There are no "cyberbully" laws, and no, it is NOT taken very seriously here. Not by the rulemakers anyway. Only by parents of bullied kids and people bullied themselves. Others consider it an eyeroll.
- As far as harassment, this is a hard one to prove as well. Saying negative thins about other people in written format (even lies) is protected by the Constitution. ED people are not actively "going after" individuals, calling them, bothering them, etc. Most of the time the information and images posted on ED articles came directly from the person the article is about, posted on a public space (like with PT). Some of the activities on ED have always been in a very grey area.

In general, nobody is going to go through the massive cost of getting a lawyer to remove an ED article, especially when it's not even a sure thing.

That's because other sites aren't as experienced with legal matters so they fall for it. ED people are very knowledgeable about what they can and cannot get away with. (At least the Old Regime was anyway.) They knew what they were getting into and were well prepared. It wasn't run by l33t teenz or casual trolls.

DA would probably remove anything that they thought was potentially damaging to their company; ED purposefully posts things they know full-well are damaging to their reputation, because it's part of the reputation they want. All I gather so far is that ED is a Switzerland top-level domain, the domain was registered by an UK citizen (Ryan Cleary) but he got in trouble with Scotland Yard so the ownership shifts to a different person (Garrett E. Moore), and the nameserver (cloudflare.com) is US-based. Not sure where it's hosted now.

The problem about PT and her 'personal'cosplay info is that she put it all over the internet. She posted those da pictures, she talked all that shit on her public twitter, she has been told multiple times by different people to make her accounts private and she said no she likes the attention.

That would be the way to go about it. But you'd have to do that after these sort of threads/discussions about it have died down and faded out of memory. There could very well be EDitors like myself or mods who browse /cgl/, see these threads, and are now going to be extra sensitive to changes made to PT's page.

What you'd want to do when your chance comes to change the page is to do it under the pretense of adding more content/editing the formatting/rewording. That way your small info change will be buried under a lot of other stuff that at the very least comes off as a contributing edit.

I would also suggest making an account a few days beforehand and fiddling around with it on other pages to make it look legit (centering vids, collapsing galleries, general clean up, adding images and content, finding homes for unused images).

I like ED but I don't agree people's IRL info should be on there, especially a small time offender like Pixyteri.

So, do you guys not realize ED editors (real ones, not this jackass giving you "insider information" up there) are reading this and knowing all the super sneaky shit you intend to do and are just going to keep a better eye out on the page, right?
