    I dunno, just because he'd cosplay from Hetalia wouldn't mean he'd have to hang out with anyone bad.

    Let him do it, OP, if he really wants to. If you're really THAT concerned just stay with him the whole time? I assume with the way you're talking about him and wanting to protect him he's a minor, so staying with him would be a good idea anyway.

    Actually now would be a good time to do it if he doesn't want to wait a few years for the rest of the fandom to die down. Since Homestuck is the new big thing, most of the obnoxious Hetalia fans have jumped ship to it.
