Really though, who here has tried out for America's Next Top Model? I'm actually thinking of trying out (just for kicks. I might be the lucky enough to get to the round of 50 girls) Doubt anyone here has though...those girls don't really look like they hang around 4chan. But I could be wrong!
    >> MuteAnon !.uou5kgoHI 12/22/11(Thu)18:53 No.5271779
A few of my friends have, and I've always wanted to but I'm way too short.
It would be really cool to see a cosplayer get on the show, though.

The only way you'd know they cosplay is if they were a total weeb about it, though.

I got to the 50 girl stage. That's where you get the call back from being picked out of the millions and I was like awwww yeah! But then they only picked the top 10? to be actually on the show. LAME. I WAS SO CLOSE! Oh well. Next time Gadget...next time. It was super fun though. Being around so many skinny and pretty women was really weird. EVERYONE looked like each other but the funny thing was you could totally pick out the beautiful European girls from the average super pretty American girl.

True, but even that would be entertaining. I'd love to see the other girl's reaction to having a geek/weeaboo in their house though.
Hell, even a loli would be nice. All that bitchy drama.

    Thats creepy chan, right?
I remember her being spammed on /x/ originally.
    >> Anonymous 12/22/11(Thu)19:07 No.5271821
There is so little action between the girls in the house though, cause it's all about them and what they act like during the photo shoots. So they could all be total nerds without us really seeing it. Would be coo to see a level 10 weeboo on it though, but who's power level is at a -1. "I love fashion! It's so kw-, we,cute! So super cute."
    >> Anonymous 12/23/11(Fri)01:25 No.5272777
I totally did. Unfortunately, I tried out for the season that ended up being for the All-Stars, so that actually felt really personal. "All of you are so ugly, we gotta go back to the last seasons!"

Next time I try out, I'm going to up my weirdness nerd factor, because I think they like having one in the house. I just bought some ferocious heels and I hope that helps too.

I don't think I'm anything remarkable special, per say, but I meet all the requirements--height, weight, build, weird-but-interesting-face...I just don't have the oomph to make it to the last ten or fourteen or whatever.
    >> Anonymous 12/23/11(Fri)01:28 No.5272786
Creepy-chan/Allison got runner up on Season 12 I believe. She totally should have won, though.

I would try, but I'm short (5'5 and minimum is like 5'7)

But good luck OP and any other Anons entering!

Jeez, get -real- careers ladies, or at least ones that won't treat your beautiful aesthetic features like slabs of meat to be graded.

I'm definitely too short anyway, being 5'2" and all. And 105 is probably too heavy to be a model at my height anyway.

Well that's what happens when you put your concentration into an aesthetic field, that if successful, will only last you until you're in your late 30s if you're lucky.
I'd love to see a model who's working on her master's, or has a successful business of some sort. I think what I hate about this show is that they draw these models out to be soooo desperate for that position. It's sickening.

    because modeling isn't easy.

Yeah anybody can get on a cover of a mag, or get to know a famous designer, but to be known world-wide, to have contracts with top companies and to take legitimately GORGEOUS pictures, no matter the theme, style or setting, is hard to do.

All of those girls are DAMN lucky, most of them you don't even hear about after they win anyway. thats how hard it is to stand out in the fashion industry. they practically have it handed to them and they get nowhere.

    Go be bitter somewhere else.

You can't exactly put a Master's on hold to do a show. And most of these girls are between 18-22, that's asking a lot for someone who wouldn't even be out of college, most likely.

I know there was one girl who was planning to go to med school, and another that put off Princeton, and on was a champion horse-jumper or whatever the fuck that was called, so some of the women have achieved a lot in two decades of living.

Not Indie, but not super well known either.
-Ulla is one of the top Dutch agencies.
-FM is crap, and I've been talking to Storm but the market in the UK is on it's ass right now, so changing will be too much hassle.
-Joy is one of the top Italian agencies.
-Same goes for my agencies in Spain and Germany
-Metropolitan isn't a very well known agency, but is more of a commercial agency. They used to be the best during the 80s and 90s and had girls like Claudia Schiffer. They were the only agency in Paris that were jumping to sign me despite being "too fat" for the other agencies.

Well known agencies like Ford, Elite and Next can be a good name to have you back up, but because they have so many top girls they won't bother working on you unless you already have a name, and even if you have, you don't last longer than a couple seasons there. So right now we're talking with some smaller agencies in NY, but DNA is really interested atm so maybe...

Well, it's not surprising when they use 14, 15 year old girls that are on strict diets. Some of the things I've seen in model apartments are quite horrible... most of them have unhealthy eating habits and I've met a few with bulimia (it's so nice when you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and slip in some girls' vomit).

Right now I'm on a diet for Fashionweek, and it's one of the reasons why I wouldn't want to be a well known model. I hate diets and love food (especially carb laden foods.. mmm... pasta...mmm cookies), but if you're well known you have to have the right measurements at all time.

I know one girl who has permanent bald patches due to a L'oreal show. My own hair broke off because of the amazing advice of my agencies to bleach my hair to death despite me telling them that it wouldn't be a good idea.

Fun fact: Right before I got my hair cut off I had an option for L'oreal. They wanted to bleach my hair even more, despite my short patches due to excessive bleaching....

You realize that meat is a very poor choice for feeding developing nations right? It spoils easily, is difficult to store, and has comparatively lower caloric density than many crops. Meat will not let "the world afford more food". You realize that a combination of black beans and rice delivers all 22 essential amino acids right? This renders meat meaningless to developing nations.

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say that the animal is far more selfless and is worth more to the world than the retard ever will be.

Wow.. You're EXTREMELY touchy. All they did was list some clothing in response to a personal attack and they're a 'jackass'.

Come on, troll-chan. Having a slow day?

That's a silly argument and you know it.

It's impossible to live in modern society and not in some way use or enjoy something that was made with, indirectly or directly, with animal by product.

Though the concern with the treatment of animals that we harvest for these materials is a valid one, and because people draw attention to it and at least care about it to some extent, companies are responding to some extent anyway.

Nothing wrong with being a vegetarian, I don't mind really. I just like my meats and I don't pretend a lot of the things I regularly use/rely on/enjoy isn't in some way has its production dependent on products made from animals.

This. Whenever I sit next to someone I know is vegan in a car/on a bus/on an airplane/in a building/etc and I know they judge me for my use of animals and I bring up where we are they have no response what so ever.

There is no such thing as vegan. You will use animal by product every day for the rest of your life unless you hand make everything yourself. It's 100% unavoidable.

Yeah I think that's all that needs to be said about Chokelate's career. She's more successful than 80% of people on this board, certainly more successful than you and I, but somehow I think you already knew that. Your bitterness is pathetic.
