like someone learned about cosplay by glancing through drama threads!
Shit, that's like berating Latinos as a culture because you watched half
an episode of "gangland". If you actually got up and went to a con,
you'd notice all kinds of people walking around being affable and
agreeable. Well, that and some massive weaboos, but there are threads
for that.
My point is that /cgl/ is in no way representative of
the general cosplaying populace. Bear in mind that we're still on 4chan,
a domain inherently given to playing host for bitches of incredible
caliber. Being on a different board doesn't change that, it just chooses
the subject for the bitches to bitch about.
I do agree about
the cosplayers reacting like children when someone discovers their more
exotic habits. They're not helping themselves when they do it, and
they're certainly making those of us who don't throw bitch fits seem
that much crazier. |
