!V7hOCNPjSE 12/13/11(Tue)16:51 No.5241817I find this humerous.
I
ragequit death note after L died... That was about eight months ago.
And just the other day I was like "okay, I've had enough time to mourn
L's death, let's see Light get what's coming to him."
And I just
finished watching it last night. And while Light is my absolute least
favorite character in anything ever, as he starts to lose his mind in
the later episodes, he gets quite amusing. I chuckled when he died;
death looks good on him.
Death note is a really good example of
the correlation between power and madness. As Light's God complex got
stronger, and as he got away with more, the more psychotic he got. But
with each passing day, he got more careless. People say the end of death
note was horrible, because Light fell for Near's trick, which he
probably wouldn't have in the days of L. But its because he felt
invincible that he started to get sloppy. I think it was a well executed
ending.
Ahhh, I feel like a silly death note fangirl right now
for saying this, but the thread seemed relevant. Sorry for the rant.
Sage because this is nothing more than me reviewing an anime that
everyone and their dog has seen. |
