    OP I doubt it was done because it's Saya... This kind of thing usually isn't meditative. They usually don't specifically pick someone for a particular reason. They just pick someone that's a good cosplay and is attractive.

    they know shes dead though, I just saw a long winded comment on one of her posts asking her to stop impersonating Saya and talking about how she's dead, and the post was promptly deleted from the page.

    She probably picked the cosplayer not really knowing who she was but now she just keeps going with it while knowing that the person she's stealing from is dead.
